Banania has always been committed to developing quality products for its consumers. That has as much to do with the ingredients in its recipes as with the way those ingredients are made.
Wherever possible, the company has always given its preference to working with French agribusiness:
- the sugar we use comes from beets, grown in the fields of northern France, gathered and refined in local factories,
- the cereal grains consist of a mixture of flours produced by major French mills.
And as for our cocoa, it comes from quality-certified international partners, produced in compliance with precise specifications signed with the company.
For its spreadable product, launched in 2012, Banania chose not to use palm oil (which is traditionally used in such products), ensuring better nutritional quality for the product while confirming its environmental commitment.
All Banania products are also formulated without lecithin (egg or soy), thus limiting the risk of potential allergies. Furthermore, none of the raw materials in the composition of Banania products are derived from Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs).
To ensure continuity and reliability in the production of Banania recipes, the production site was certified ISO 9001 from 1999 to 2008, and ISO 22000 from 2008 to 2014, and has been IFS certified since 2013.
